Clean Sweep

Darcy let the ice fall, she stared at the scene, completely perplexed, the reapers were attacking one another.

The conduit took note of te spinning gun, but didnt take his eyes off of bourny, taught to always keep an opponent in sight.

Cole took at look at Darcy, "Told you."

Bourny started doing more spins and flips with the gun over his shoulder and behind his back, his feet moving fast as well and he grinned "so you ready for my free shot?"

"Leopards don't change their spots but they can hide them"
She said firmly with little emotion.

The conduit analyzed the movements, "How amusing, he said, readying his assault rifle.

"Sounds like you lost somebody to them" Cole said quietly, "Your not the only one, i had to bury one of my loved ones, it was i nthe historical district actually, you may have seen her grave."

Darcy sighed and waved a finger,
"Do not even start to compare my life to yours, don't even try to sympathise with me, because I don't want it frankly although I am sorry for your loss"

"No... i dont compare my life to yours... but the murderer of my loved one... was your boss." Cole said solemly.

"I am sorry to hear that but my mother, my father and my brother to me are a greater loss, as there is three of them" She answered

"So you lost many, i apologize, by who's hand... may i ask?" Cole asked quietly.

"My business not yours" She was a very private person, and she didn't really care about her attitude

"Understood, just dont get in my way when i get my hands on kessler..." Cole said, anger rising.

Bourny threw both pistols in the air "Ready?" he caught a pistol with a spin he pointed it at the Conduit "One" he flipped it around again tossing it up catching the other as he did pointing it again "Two" he through both guns up and jumped after them catching them and taking two shots at the conduit

The conduit waited until the last split second, before disappearing, reappearing next to Bourny, the end of the barrel on his rifle, pressed on bourny's head.

Bourny laughed as he fell twisting his body to wrap around the gun his legs around the conduits arm he grinned before aiming one of his pistols at his face and firing, if he teleported he would have to take Bourny with him or leave his gun

"Wrong move..." The conduit grinned, as he let go, gripping Bourny's shirt, taking advantage of the fact that Bourny was wrapped around his arm, teleporting, making sure the arm that Bourny was on, would slam into the wall at the destination, using the speed of teh teleportation movenment with the swing of his own body to deal pretty heavy damage onto bourny if he connected with the wall.

ooc i'm wrapped around his arm so an explosion under my feet is.....well its his face

Bourny span the rifle round as he was held by the conduit "automatic" he grinned before hitting the wall, using all his mind to block the pain he shot five rounds at the conduits face with his own rifle

Stunned by the fact that Bourny stayed conscious, the rounds hit the conduit, it's body falling back limp.

Bourny fell to the floor with the conduit he stood slowly an arm around his ribs and breathing heavy he spat some blood on the ground and bowed his head "We are even" he looked at Cole

"You alright?" Cole asked, powering down his shield.

Bourny grinned "I've fought them before" he laughed "And the human body is incredible at times"

"Not bad Bourny... Not bad at all" Cole grinned.

Bourny sighed leaning against the wall letting his body relax slowly he lowered until he was sat down, kicking the Conduit's foot "He deserved it, the cockly lil git" he smiled

Darcy looked at the dead conduit and reached for her phone, she sent a code to her commander and checked to see if she had everything, she did and without a word, she turned on her heel and began to walk away, she had more work to do.

Bourny smiled "No thanks from you missy?" he stood slowly his arm around his ribs "I did do your job"

"She hates you just as much as any other Reaper" Cole laughed a lil, "A lil cold today arent we?" He yelled over to darcy.

Bourny looked at Cole "Surely shes realised I ain't a normal reaper" he grinned

"When one has been dealt a great amount of pain, it's hard to tell the difference between friend and foe, in your case, i believe a reaper squad killed her family." Cole said, speaking from personal experience.

Bourny rubbed his eye "Good ole Cole, sticking his nose in" he grinned again

"Hey, she told me, i didnt ask... except who it was, but i never got an answer" Cole grinned, "She'll come around, if kessler doesnt get his cold,psychotic fingers too deep into her first."

Darcy looked back, "You'll get a thanks the day all reapers cease to exist" She looked at Cole, and put a hand on her hip,
"Cold, you haven't seen nothing yet, and Kessler well, I don't even like him, in fact I don't like many people and your one of them stop trying to know me it won't happen"

Cole grinned, "You'll come around eventually hun!" He yelled, "And what did i do to automatically get on your hated list? what it the part i tripped you?" He laughed.

Darcy scowled and shoved her badge into her chest pocket,
"Yeah most likely or it might just be beacause I don't like cocky, arrogant, interfering prying idiots, bye" She turned on her heel once more and began to make her way back to base.

"Cocky... arrogant... idiot? ok, that lil badge, miss high and mighty? dont protect you from the real trash out there, sorry to break it to you, im like this, not cuz im cocky, no, Bourny's the cocky one, i've just seen so much shit in my life... i dont really care bout it anymore."

Darcy's eyes became dark and she looked up at the sky,
"You think reapers killed my brother, true they killed my grandmother, grandfather five years before I was born, but then murdered my parents in front of my eyes when I was five but I assure you my brother's death wa a whole different happening"

"Tell me, was it the blast that wiped out half of the historical district? you can blame me for that too, everyone else seems to." Cole said.

Bourny clapped "Everyone always blames the reapers" he pushed Cole playfully "Cocky, moi!" he mocked shocked "I'm not cocky, I'm just good" he grinned, then turned to Darcy "I'm sorry for what the reapers did to you, please feel free to hit me if it'll make you feel better"

Darcy snorted with laughter and shook her head,
"Nah, wiping the reapers out will make me feel better and Cole, he didn't in that explosion"

Bourny winked pointing at his face paint "If you ain't noticed I am technically a reaper"

"Ah, nevermind then" cole said to Darcy, "And you not THAT good Bourny."

Bourny smiled and rubbed his eye "Says you popeye"

"Whatever you say mary" Cole shot back with a grin, "Oh yes, i have a feeling this lil... partnership, so to speak, will be fun."

Bourny tilted his head "Mary?!?" he shook his head "That don't even make sense"

"You wear too much makeup woman" Cole said shaking his head.

Bourny grinned "And yet I still look better than you" he laughed lightly breathing heavily

Cole opened his bag pulled out some clothes, and threw it at bourny, "Put them on, take off the make up, your going to the hospital."

Bourny let the clothes hit the floor "I'll go back to the reapers, can't let them suspect me working with you and they will heal me," he smiled "I can also blame you for this and report babysitters death"

Darcy looked at them both with utter amazement and shook her head,
"Okay, if you are done with me, I can leave" she said looking at them both,
"There is a hospital in the historical district that takes in patients without an appointment"

Cole laughed, "ok then" He looked over to Darcy, "Ill end up over there eventually i have buisiness to take care of.
